Answer: 

- The UDM Manager probe uses port 4334 by default. If UMP, Discovery Server, and UGS are installed on systems separate from the UDM system, you will need to ensure that port 4334 is open.  You may also need to set firewall rules to allow communication across this port.  

If the UIM Server host has multiple IP's, the UDM Manager probe may not be listening for port 4334 on the correct IP.

- The UDM Manager probe deployed with UIM Server uses port 4334.  For environments with a firewall, you may need to set a rule for port 4334, to ensure complete initialization for USM. For more information about configuring the UDM Manager probe, refer to the UDM Manager probe documentation
