In the 0x00010f8c event, is shows the fault domain as transitioning from one state to another.

How does Spectrum determine the value of the faultDomainState?

Resolution

The faultDomainState is based on the state of the Chassis Fault Domain. 

If the Chassis Fault Domain is down, then the faultDomainState is down.

If the Chassis Fault Domain is in Maintenance Mode, then the faultDomainState is maintenance.
