Issue/Introduction

• You are running an unsupported version of VMware Tanzu Kubernetes Grid Management (TKGm), such as TKG 2.4.x.
  
  
• Your TKG environment is deployed using the NSX Advanced Load Balancer (AVI) topology.
  
  
• You referenced the Broadcom Product Lifecycle page and decide to upgrade to TKG 2.5.x.

Resolution

1. TKG 2.5.2 requires this component version
   TKG-cli - 1.3
   TKG Plugins version - 2.5.2 - v0.32.3  
   Kubectl - 1.28
   Upgrade the Management cluster with 1.28.11--using the OVA template from the TKG 2.5.2 downloads.
   
   
2. TKG 2.5.4 requires these component versions
   TKG-cli - 1.5.3
   TKG Plugins version - 2.5.4 - v0.32.5
   Kubectl - 1.29
   Upgrade the Management cluster TKr 1.29.15--using the OVA template from TKG 2.5.4 downloads.
   
   
3. Workload clusters: Upgrade directly from 2.4.1 to 2.5.4, skipping 2.5.2.
   Upgrade the Workload cluster using the OVA template from any TKG 2.5.4 Tanzu Kubernetes Release.
