Cannot remove expired certificate from Aria Operations

Issue/Introduction

When trying to remove/delete the expired certificate from Aria Operations, the following error appears:
Internal Error: runtimeException: java.lang.NullPointerException 

Environment

Aria Operations 8.x

Resolution

To resolve the issue, please follow the steps below:

1. Remove the adapter instance linked to the expired certificate.
2. Re-add the adapter instance again
3. Remove the expired certificate.

Please do not select "Delete related objects".
Otherwise, all the data will be deleted as well. Keeping it unchecked, the data will remain in Aria Operations.
