Realization path for NSX objects does not change even after renaming the object from UI

Issue/Introduction

Customer changed the name of realized object from UI using the 'Rename' option . 
API calls to the path with new name would fail with error 
"Could not be found , Object identifiers are case sensitive"

Environment

Vmware NSX

VMware NSX-T Datacenter

Cause

This is expected behaviour . 
While an object is created , it gets realised with an ID as the name of the object at the time of creation and the path is realised accordingly . 
Renaming the object would only change the "display name' , would not change the ID or path . 

Resolution

This is expected behaviour.  
Use 'copy path to clipboard' option in the UI to get the actual path with original ID and use that in the API's
