Edge Management plane impact due to mgd ssl heartbeat error

Issue/Introduction

Customer might have faced edge management plane communication and cause edge went to offline state

Environment

 

VMware VeloCloud SD-WAN

Cause

The issue caused by edge SSL heartbeat certificate tweaked by the transport device such as firewall/ISP

Resolution

In case customer required to resolve the issue without restart the edge device, customer shall revert to VMware VeloCloud SD-WAN support and support team will try the workaround of enabling the ignoring certificate errors parameters via edge CLI.

Once the edge management plane recovered , support team will disable the  ignoring certificate errors parameters via edge CLI so that it wont cause any impact on future activation

On edge mgd logs , the error will be shown as below.
