We have upgraded Clarity to 16.3.0 and we have noticed that the % Complete field on our projects as well as on our audit tables has been renamed to % Complete - Deprecated
Has the field been deprecated?
Additionally, the audit trail data showing the changes of the field since the upgrade is incorrect
Clarity 16.3.0
The % Complete capability has been enhanced and in 16.3.0 the same capability has been introduced at Investment level
There has been a functionality change in 16.3.0. Please see documentation
Introducing the % Complete Capability for Custom Investments
The % Complete attribute in Clarity is a critical metric used to indicate the progress of an investment or task. This attribute typically reflects the percentage of work that has been completed relative to the total work planned. This attribute was previously available in projects and has now been introduced in custom investments. You can use the % Complete Calculation method field to determine how Clarity measures progress.
New '% Complete' and '% Complete Method fields are available in the abstract investment object.
The existing API Attribute ID for these fields on the project object is no longer available. They will be available as Read-Only fields and will be labeled as deprecated in Classic PPM.
Upgrade Impact: Before you upgrade, ensure you review the various areas, such as the Blueprint Properties page, Shared Views, Widgets, and Cards, where the % Complete project attribute is available so that you can update them.
As fields have been deprecated, the audit trail discrepancies will not be addressed through a code change
