Issue/Introduction

You are unable to power on a VM in a multi-node cluster that has HA enabled.
You receive the message "Insufficient resources to satisfy configured failover level."

Environment

8.x

Cause

This can occur if there are not enough resource in the cluster to accommodate the VM.
When HA is enabled, additional resources will be required to accommodate the event of a failover.

Resolution

If HA is not required, you can disable it.
If HA is required, you will need to add additional resources to the cluster.
Alternatively, you can schedule that VM in a different cluster with sufficient resources.
