Upgrade bundles not listed under the Updates tab on the SDDC manager for the components (NSX, VCENTER, VxRAIL) in 5.x

Issue/Introduction

  • Bundles not available for the components in the Updates Tab. 

  • After confirming the target VCF build on the plan upgrade page of the SDDC manager, the UI does not list NSX and other components showing the upgrade workflow

  • All the necessary files and bundles for NSX, VC and ESXi were uploaded

     

Environment

VMware SDDC manager 

VMware Cloud Foundation 5.x

Cause

  • VxRail bundle was not uploaded before selecting the plan upgrade 
  • Therefore the SDDC manager marks the upgrade option as not upgradable

Following logs indicate the requirement for VxRail bundle:
