How does one enable the xMatters notification methods to appear as selectable notification methods for a given contact record (individual contacts and groups)?
Answer:
To enable the entries’ appearance as a selectable notification method, you will need to install option “xmatters_url” in Service Desk Manager’s Options Manager. If you are using an older integration of xMatters (integration versions 1.4, 1.5, and 1.6.1), you may fill in a dummy value, ie “localhost”, as a placeholder value to setup for this option value.
Like any changes in Options Manager, you will need to cycle SDM Services to complete the installation
