CA Network Flow Analysis (NetQos / NFA)

Issue/Introduction

Problem:

Is there NFA support for Ipv6 Sflow for a Brocade Switch?

Environment:

Network Flow Analysis 9.1/9.3.x

Issue:

It's probable that you will see that netflow packets will be discarded.

Cause:

The issue is because Brocade sends 'Expanded Counter' samples.

And currently the NFA product only supports IPv6 as a protocol grouping and nothing more.

Additional Information:

See;

And as of February 2016 consideration for use of Sflow with Brocade switches is in the CA Product management teams backlog for consideration.
But there is no commitment to this yet from CA.

If you are unsure if this is your problem, please raise a case with CA support, attaching a pcap in .pcap format and confirming the device model/version.
