CDM is not collecting Network metrics on AIX robots

Issue/Introduction

Some AIX robots are not collecting Network metrics even though they are enabled via the Admin Console. Note that other CDM metrics are collected.

The cdm.log does not capture any helpful messages with loglevel 5. The only observation between a working cdm and a non-working instance is that the non-working does not show the entry below in the cdm.log

AIX robot 20.41+

cdm 7.20+

Resolution

This issue is sometimes seen when the system API path is missing in the controller probe PATH variable. The PATH variable must include all API paths on systems that have multiple API paths configured.

1. Open the controller probe on the suspect robot, Click on Setup > Environment -> Add the /usr/bin path
