Issue/Introduction

Following the upgrade to Messaging Gateway 10.9.1 the following error message begins appearing in the MTA / mail server logs:

Environment

Version: 10.9.1

Cause

The OpenSSL log message is supposed to be logged at Information or Debug level but is instead being logged at Error level.

Resolution

This log entry does not indicate any problem with the Messaging Gateway. It is logged when the SMG mail server loads the updated OpenSSL library as part of its normal operations.

The OpenSSL error message will be move to Information or Debug level in a future Messaging Gateway release.
