Issue/Introduction
Broadcom performs various testing prior to releasing versions of VMware appliances (ie vCenter Server, TCA) with strict package parameters and their interactions within versions in use and their operability with one another. Introducing any packages into the Photon OS operating system can result in unknown effects that have not been tested for.

Resolution
It is not supported to install any third party agents within the Photon OS of the VMware appliance (ie vCenter Server, TCA).
