Issue/Introduction

After upgrade completes and all green check marks for platforms and collectors, there will be post upgrade tasks for cleaning up old files and updating service file numbers.

Environment

Aria Operations for Networks 6.14

Cause

Platform is attempting to SSH to collector and is being blocked by a possible firewall rule. 

Resolution

Please wait at least 2 hours and it should timeout and continue the clean up. This does not cause any issues on the system, it just a verification check between platform collector.

 

You can verify SSH connectivity by logging into Platform 1 with support user and try to ssh to a collector. 

ssh support@<collector ip>

If it hangs, it is a known issue and will time out shortly. No further actions are needed. If after 3 hours the system does not continue or complete, please open a case and reference this KB

 

If you are using LCM and the status check for upgrade fails, just hit retry. LCM times out after 2 1/2 hours. It will continue to check the status of the upgrade and nothing more.
