Issue/Introduction

  • Validation completes successfully before submitting new Network Extension.
  • After submitting the new Network Extension creation task, the task fails with the following error:
  • The following messages can be found in Cloud Manager log file /common/logs/admin/app.log :
    [NetworkStretchService_SvcThread-1477, j: b10c1964, s: 3db5b671, , TxId: TxId: ########-####-####-####-############] WARN  c.v.v.h.networkstretch.AbstractJob- Exception in NetworkStretchJobs:ConfigureHostRoutesOnEdgeJob. Reason : JSONObject["tier0_path"] not found.

Cause

The issue is because T1 gateway is not connected to T0 gateway in NSX on the Cloud side.

Resolution

Environmental Requirements for MON:

An NSX Tier-1 router connected to a Tier-0 router must exist in the cloud environment prior to enabling this feature.
