Unable to see the Pricing metrics after migrating price cards to policies in Aria Operations

Issue/Introduction

After migrating the Pricing Cards to Policies, you are unable to see the Metering tab under Metrics - Summary for objects. 

Environment

Aria Operations 8.18

Cause

The effective policy that is assigned to Cluster Compute Resource (vCenter or Clusters) is not the migrated pricing policy or the depth of the policy is set incorrectly

Resolution

To resolve the issue, follow the below steps:

1. Login to Aria Operations UI
2. Go to Operations -> Configurations -> Policy Assignment and select the migrated policy
3. On the right side you will be able to see the Assigned Objects for this policy
4. Ensure that this policy is assigned to the Cluster Compute Resource and depth is set to include child objects
5. Save the changes and wait for 24 hours for the changes to take effect
