Wrong date in target account report emails in the last week of December

Issue/Introduction

A daily report is configured on the Credentials > Reports > Scheduled Jobs page to list all target accounts in a target group. The report is sent to the recipients configured in the scheduled job. During the last week of December, the emails showed the wrong dates in the body:

Environment

Affects PAM releases 4.2.0 and older

Cause

The Java class sending the email created a DateTimeFormat object using format "YYYY/MM/dd" instead of "yyyy/MM/dd". This resulted in the year showing as "week year" rather than "calendar year". Dec 30, 2024, was part of week 1 of year 2025, and thus the week year of 12/30/24 is 2025.

Resolution

This problem is fixed in PAM 4.2.1+.
