Issue/Introduction

Question:

Is there a need to reverse the DDCFBLD HSD RESET and DDUPDATE transactions (SDCTRNS) provided by CA Datacom/DB 12.0 PTF RO66596 (or its PREs RO43481 and RO30267) when fall back from CA/Datacom/DB 14.0 to 12.0?

Answer:

There is no need to reverse the updates provided by PTF RO66596 (etal) when fall back from 14.0 to 12.0 as they are correct for both versions 14.0 and 12.0. The CA Datacom/DB Version 14.0 fall back procedures to 12.0 are sufficient.

Additional Information:

In future releases, if any fall back was necessary, the upgrade and fall back procedures would account for that.
