FT to mounted folder is very slow when the target is a Java-based agent

Issue/Introduction

The transfer of the same file as compared between Java-based and c-based Agent as the target, is several times slower on the Java-based agent when the target is a mounted volume. A source file on a mounted disk does not affect the speed.

The issue only occurs using text mode. Using binary mode the issue was not observed.

Environment

This affect the following versions:

• Agent Java-based v24.3.0 and lower
• Agent Java-based v21.0.13 and lower

Cause

This is a defect related to the way data is buffered during the transfer

Resolution

The Fix is published in below versions.

V 21.0.14 and higher 

V 24.4.0 and higher
