Upgrading IDMS R18 to IDMS R19: Is Easytrieve R11.6 IDMS option compatible with IDMS R19?

The support online compatibility matrix does not cover Easytrieve compatibility with upgrades to IDMS.

 

Environment

Easytrieve Report Generator, release 11.6

IDMS, version 19

Resolution

It has been confirmed that the following Easytrieve IDMS programs have been run with IDMS v19 and all is fine:
1. A non-SQL job

2. An automatic retrieval SQL job

3. An SQL job that uses a cursor and fetchs.

All 3 ran successfully.
