Issue/Introduction
Technicians logged into a client computer remotely using RDP would request software via the software portal, but when the policy arrived and ran, it did not show the expected interactive user interface for software installation and configuration.
Environment
Software Management versions 8.7.2 and 8.7.3
Resolution
Download the attached file to the Notification Server (SMP)
Open an elevated (administrator) command prompt and run these commands:
cd "C:\Program Files\Altiris\Notification Server\Bin\Tools\"
ImportExportUtil.exe /import "<path to downloaded file>\Fixed_SoftwarePortal.xml"
Test to verify software portal using an RDP login session
