Yum Downloads for 7.8.1 and Higher Require an Updated GPG Key

Issue/Introduction

When gpg check is enabled for the CarbonBlack.repo, the files fail with a "Error: GPG Check Failed" message.

Environment

• Carbon Black EDR Server: 7.8.1 and Higher

Cause

The older public.asc key will fail to validate the signature checks. 

Resolution

1. Open /etc/yum.repos.d/CarbonBlack.repo for editing.
2. Add the following line under the current gpgkey entry.

   gpgkey=https://yum.distro.carbonblack.io/enterprise/keys/cb.asc

3. Clean the yum cache.

   yum clean all
