Error: "Invalid hard disk parameters specified" while detaching the named disk in VMware Cloud Director

Issue/Introduction

• Unable to detach the named disk in VMware Cloud Director.
• When detaching the named disk the below error occurs:
  
  Invalid hard disk parameters specified. The following parameters are invalid or conflict with other configured devices in the virtual machine: [vcId=#########-####-####-#########2faa, moref=vm-####07] Adapter Type: NVME, Bus Number: 0, Unit Number: 0


• In the /opt/vmware/vcloud-director/vcloud-container.debug.log the below error can be seen:

Environment

VMware Cloud Director 10.6.x

Cause

This issue occurs when there is a mismatch between the vmdk file name from vCenter mob view and VCD Database.
