SD-WAN - No configuration details available in the "Profile Updated" events in the VCO

Issue/Introduction

Any configuration change for Edge by VCO, should show events but this events does not contain the changes was made.

For example,  updated the Edge configuration in security parameter. When Events of Edge was checked, events related to these changes were invisible. Instead, only profile update events. However, when open these events, there is no information present. This behavior is started with 6.1 VCO 

-Configuration change example was as below:

When this event is opened, no details about the change was made is available as a JSON format

Cause

There is a new product Enhancement introduced in this area of not showing configuration change in JSON format by default.

That change was introduced as part of internal enhancement by Engineering team

This Behavior is expected starting from 6.1 VCO

Resolution

To circumvent it, we need to set specific system properties in VCO properties to true in order to get event Details for enterprise events:

vco.enterprise.events.configuration.diff.enable

Note: The system properties would resolve the behavior up to extend when changes are small enough and captured in the difference, but If they are large, then there won't be any difference
