After changing the interface name alias using the override, at some point the interface alias is being set back to the default ifAlias.
DX NetOps 23.3, 24.3
The ifAdminStatus of the interface was changing to a down state and this was causing the interface to be filtered. When it came back up it was reverting to the default interface alias.
A new interface monitoring profile with no filter can be created and assigned to the same groups. Once that's done you can remove the groups from the out of the box interface monitoring profile and then we won't filter out the interfaces and it will not revert the interface alias back to the default ifAlias.
