Issue/Introduction

Agent connection issue,

Require alerts when there is a  pod restart or any application disconnection after 5 minute of that event. If creating an alert at pod ready state, then get an alert for pod down but not for pod restart.

How to fix the agent connection issue?

Or

Give me a way to set/get an alert if there is a pod restart?

Resolution

Use another metric to alert.

Additional Information

There is a "Total Restarts" metric to monitor restarts, or container level "Container Restart Count".
