Aria Automation upgrade fails with error "LCMVRAVAUPGRADE70003" from Aria Suite lifecycle

Error Code: LCMVRAVAUPGRADE70003 
Extracting all the VMware Aria Automation hosts failed.
No host information present for extracting all the VMware Aria Automation hosts. Provide the required VMware Aria Automation hostnames and retry.

Environment

VMware Aria Automation 8.x

Cause

This issue occur if the inventory synchronization fails due to incomplete environment information within the Aria Lifecycle Manager for Aria Automation Environment.

Resolution

Pre requisites : Record the Node IP addresses and FQDNs of all Aria Automation nodes

Unregistering Aria Automation environment from Aria Suite Lifecycle

  • Log in to VMware Aria Suite Lifecycle using Admin account
  • Click on view details for Aria Automation environment
  • Click on vertical ellipses and the choose the option "Delete Product"
  • DO NOT select the option "Delete associated VMs from vCenter"
  • Click on delete

Importing Aria Automation environment on Aria Suite Lifecycle

  • Select Lifecycle Operations
  • Select the “Create Environment” option
  • Provide environment name and default password and click next
  • When selecting products check the option VMware Aria Automation and choose the “Import” option.
  • Provide Primary Node FQDN and root password and finish importing the environment

Aria Automation health checks will result all green.
