Issue/Introduction

Running "Auto Protect " scan on SEP(Symantec Endpoint Protection) Linux \ Ubuntu clients does not update the "Last Scan" status on SEPM(Symantec Endpoint Protection Manager). 

Cause

This is an expected behavior for "Auto Protect" Scan as it is a real time scan that runs on SEP clients.

Last Scan status will get updated for below types of scan:

  • Scheduled Scan
  • Manual scan run on Linux \ Ubuntu Endpoints
  • Running full scan from SEPM console. 

Resolution

This is an expected behavior for "Auto Protect" Scan as it is a real time scan that runs on SEP clients.
