Java DateTimeFormatter class year format

Issue/Introduction

The Java DateTimeFormatter class has two options for processing the year portion of the date: YYYY or yyyy. 

There is a defect in the way that the YYYY format works, resulting in the year being incorrectly calculated on days near the calendar year end. 

Is Siteminder affected by this defect?

Resolution

No.  Siteminder exclusively uses the yyyy year format and thus is unaffected by the defect associated with the YYYY format.
