MUX - Interactive Filtering Not Consistant

Issue/Introduction

If multiple Widgets are present, one a bar and one a pie chart, when clicking on a value in the bar (to filter by) the pie chart doesn't filter in the same way. It works vice versa.

1. Within the MUX go to the Project List, and create two Widgets. One is a pie chart for an attribute (Status, for example) and a Bar using the same attribute.
2. Add the Widgets to the display.
3. Ensure "Filter Widgets" is checked in the Widgets menu.

4. Add additional filtering to the page (for example filter by "Project Name")

4. In the pie chart click one of the values, and you'll notice that the filter changes, and the Pie and Bar only show information related to the filter. If you try to perform the same filtering on the Bar, it doesn't filter the same way.

The following Widgets are set up:

When clicking "Unapproved" on the Pie chart it looks like this:

However when clicking "Unapproved" on the Bar it looks like this:

 

Expected Results:
Filtering should be the same for Bar and Pie Widgets

Actual Results:
Filtering acts differently

Workaround:
Remove any additional filtering

Clarity 16.3.0

Resolution

This behavior is in the backlog and will be taken up in a future release for improvement.

It is now tracked internally as a User Story, but was originally tracked as DE160985, which is provided for reference.
