Issue/Introduction

Unable to upgrade the Standalone Identity Manager from 14.5 to 14.5 SP1 due to error:

Deployment status false

or

Invalid patch folder path. <path without \ > Please verify value in CPDeployer.properties file.

         FATAL error occured. Cannot proceed further....

         Reason: Invalid patch folder path. <path without \ > Please verify value in CPDeployer.properties file.

Standalone Identity Manager 14.5

Cause

Incorect path in CPDeployer.properties

Resolution

Make sure deploy.patch.path= points to folder within IMS-1451 related to your app server where files are extracted to

so for jboss it will be <rest of the path>IMS-1451\jboss

also we suggest that path should not contain " " (spaces).
