All WAN/LAN ports connected to standby edge went down during HA TCP connection failure between active and standby edges. This causes partial outages to the customers using enhanced HA feature.
High availability deployment.
1) HA TCP resets between active and standby boxes due to any reachability issue causes the interfaces connected to the standby edge to flap.
2) If there is no underlay connectivity issue between edges, the packet forwarding should not halt.
3) If there is a real network issue between active and standby, the interfaces will be brought down. Customers need to investigate the connectivity issues.
If active and standby boxes are not directly connected, please check the network between them and make sure that there are no issues.
If the issue occurs please capture a diagnostic bundle during issue state and raise a support case for Broadcom to check the logs further. There is an internal ticket #119853 opened to improve the current behavior.
