At an attempted logon, users receive the following message:
CA DRAS Server is not available for the security check function. Contact your System Administrator.
We were looking for a message that could indicate the condition that triggers the failure.
We found CAS9855W on the two days where the error occurred. There is a message CAS9855I which we have many throughout the system log.
CAS9855W protect(##.###.##.##.###)##### requires SSL but Server disabled
CAS9855W sys(##.###.##.##.###)##### requires SSL but Server disabled
CAS9855W protect(##.###.##.##.###)##### requires SSL but Server disabled
CAS9855W sys(##.###.##.##.###)/##### requires SSL but Server disabled
This issue (TCP Unique Origin ID) is addressed in Build level 216 and higher
WORKAROUND:
For Builds 207 through 215, add the following line to
CCIClient.properties :
TCPIP.ForceUniqueOrigin=1
and recycle.
To avoid problems in the future, keep up to date on maintenance.
