Unable to unregister add-on VR server

Issue/Introduction

Symptoms:

* No VMs been configured for replication using the add-on VR server.

* HMS logs report existing replications though there are no replications configured with this VR server:

com.vmware.vim.binding.hms.remote.fault.HbrHasConfiguredReplicationsFault: Unable to unregister VR Server 'addOn-vr.example.com' (IP address '100.#.#.#', UUID '52c55f78-####-####-####-#############') because of existing replications.

Note : IP in the above error (100.#.#.#) is of the add-on VR & UUID 52c55f78-####-####-####-#############is vsrv_uuid of the add-on VR server.

Environment

vSphere Replication 9.x

Cause

Stale processes for add-on VR running in embedded VR appliance 

Resolution

a) Perform power-cycling of the embedded VR appliance and then attempt unregistering of the add-on VR.

If power-cycling does not help in unregistering the add-on VR, please contact Broadcom support.
