Issue/Introduction

Edge to edge or edge to hub traffic gets dropped after HA failover destination edge/hub. Issue is fixed by flushing flows on destination edge/Hub.

Environment

All environments

Cause

When the HA failover happens, some links could have caused some issues, FC's (flow control) route policy was not as expected, and so flow flush on the hub side resolved the issue. This issue would be caused due to not recommended configuration for LAN interfaces such as: WAN overlay or Underlay accounting enablement.

Resolution

- Flush impacted flows on hub side works as a workaround

- Make sure that LAN interfaces have "WAN Overlay" and "Underlay Accounting" features disabled. For more information refer to Configure Interface Settings for Edges.

- If issue persists, please generate diagnostics bundles from both edges and PCAP from both LAN interfaces of both edges during issue state.
