We haven't executed the tests yet because it requires several restarts, we have been looking at the versions of the application we are monitoring.
Currently the application is on .NET Framework 2.0, we would like to know if this version is supported, and if based on the version it could have any incidence in the performance issues we are experiencing.
Also, please share with us the DX APM Agents support and compatibility matrix.
Looking at articles from Microsoft
CLR 2 or .Net Framework 2 is from 2005. They are not always the same thing. If you meant .Net Framework 2 that is no longer supported from what I can tell. And the performance issues are self-created possibly due to using an old framework.
NET framework 4.8 apps run on CLR 4 . So they will be supported . Please see the attached compat guide.
Any issues with .Net Framework 2 are likely fixed in later Net frameworks such as 4.8 and 5.
