SDWAN- Connected and static route type is shown in OFC for Offline edge

Issue/Introduction

Edge is offline but OFC (Overlay flow control) shows both the Route type - Connected and Static.

Environment

VMware SD-WAN Edge

All SD-WAN versions.

Resolution

Edge is offline and its directly connected and static routes were seen in the OFC table. This is expected as the Connected and Static route configuration is done locally on the VCO for the edge.

If the customer is NOT going to use the same edge which is Offline, then directly connected Interface IP configuration and static route configuration need to be removed from the VCO.

Note-  Directly connected and static routes will be shown only in the OFC table, however, it will not be installed in the gateways or enterprise edges route table.

Once removed from the edge configuration, then it will not be seen in OFC table.
