How to set up inbound message flow to O365.

This article contain step to set up guide to configure inbound message in Office flow to O365 using SMG.

Step 1: Add your domains to Office 365

Step 2: Add Symantec Messaging Gateway to the Office 365 Allowed IP List

Step 3: Edit your domains in Symantec Messaging Gateway to route incoming mail to Office 365

  1. In the Symantec Messaging Gateway Control Center, on the Protocols > Domains page, select a local domain that you configured in Office 365 and click Edit.
  2. Click the Delivery tab, and select Optionally route this domain or email address.
  3. Select Destination hosts, and click Add. In the Host field that appears, enter the MX address from the Office 365 confirmation screen.
  4. At the bottom of the screen, click Save. Symantec Messaging Gateway immediately starts routing the domain’s incoming emails to O365.
  5. Repeat steps 1 through 4 to edit each of the local domains that you configured for incoming mail in Office 365.

Step 4: Make sure the MX records for your local domains point to Symantec Messaging Gateway
