Issue/Introduction

Edge model 720 goes offline shortly after activated with code the version 5.2.3.

 

In the event message, we see this:

Installed downloaded software on edge VC0720XXXXXXX045 version 5.2.3.0 build R5230-20240313-GA-da68480549 into partition 2

In the VCO, the edge shows code 5.2.4.0. Also, it has MR in the version name, which means it is a factory code. 

Resolution

Edge 720 is only compatible with releases 5.2.4 and above.

We need to change the code to 5.2.4+ in the VCO then proceed with activation.
