Issue/Introduction

• Renewal of certificates through LCM for Aria Operations is failing with error: VMware Aria Operations Connection Failure...Please check master node.
• Certificate for Aria Operations has already expired

Environment

Aria Operations 8.x

LCM 8.x

Cause

The issue can occur if the certificate has expired already or if it is close to expiring. 

Resolution

1. Generate a certificate in LCM as per documentation 
2. Export the newly generated certificate by downloading it from the locker
3. Follow the steps for Install a New Certificate in VMware Aria Operations in the kb
