Renamed devices are showing the old name in the Data Aggregator monitored device and Netops Portal
When looking at the Details tab:
The Host Name is blank, this means the device is using sysName for naming, as the device is not available in DNS
The System Name is correct
The Name is the old name.
DX NetOps Performance Management all supported versions
The System metric family is updated every 24 hours by default via the System Information monitoring profile.
This does update the System Name field by polling sysName.0 but does not update the device name
To update the name:
1) Click the rediscover button on the Data Aggregator Device Admin page for the device.
2) Run/schedule a discovery profile discovery that includes the device.
