Sideplane errors in messages logs on storage array

Issue/Introduction

The logs may record sideplane errors.  These are coming from the ME4/VA storage arrays attached to the Security Analytics servers.  This is an indication of a possible controller failure or even a chassis issue.  These may only occur for a short period of time and/or be only a few errors.

Cause

The storage controller may be producing these errors. 

Resolution

The fix will likely entail replacing the controller but may also require replacing the chassis, which holds the disks and controllers to be replaced.

Contact technical support and have the Event Logs ready to be attached to the case.  The shipping address with contact name, phone number, and email address will be needed before any replacement parts can be shipped.
