Issue/Introduction

AAI Audit Data Insight  not switching to  Oracle Service name if SID connection fails. The error message below is present.

 

WARN  [SchedulerService         ] (CollectorTask_6     ) Collector is unable to connect to the primary or secondary connections for [No URL => XXX]
WARN  [SchedulerService         ] (CollectorTask_6     ) Collector Service will retry primary and secondary connections during next fetch cycle for [XXX]

The issue has been fixed from AAI v24.

  • Fixed an issue with the Collector service for the Audit History so that when the connection to an Oracle SID fails, it will fallback to try to connect to the Oracle service instead.
