Unable to access CloudHealth platform via Microsoft ADFS SSO and receiving "errorCode":"8000014

Issue/Introduction

This issue is impacting SSO via Microsoft ADFS IDP.  Users will be unable to access CloudHealth starting December 15th 2024 and getting the following error message: 
{"errorCode":"8000014","errorMessage":"Unknown exception"}

Cause

The root cause is associated to an upgrade to AuthHub 3.3 which looks for Subject nameID.  If this claim set in the IDP or that have it set but without passing a value, users will not be able to log into the platform

Resolution

The solution is to create a new claim called nameID and give it any value. For example, user email address can be set as a value. 

If errors continue after adding nameID claim, pass a SAML trace and provide it to Technical Support.
