License key is not listed when trying to apply it in LCM

Issue/Introduction

VMware Aria Suite Enterprise 8.14 for Cloud Foundation license key is not listed when trying to apply it  to Aria Operations and Aria Operations for Logs 8.18.x in LCM 8.18:

 

Environment

Aria Operations 8.18.x

Aria Operations for Logs 8.18.x

Aria Suite Lifecycle 8.18

Cause

Although the license key can be applied through the Aria Operations and Aria Logs 8.18.x UIs, LCM 8.18 needs a more current key (VCF 5.2) for these 2 products.

VCF 4.x version license keys are incompatible with LCM 8.18 (VCF 5.2) when applying them to Aria Operations and Aria Logs 8.18.x.

Resolution

Workaround:

Either working with the Licensing team to get a VCF 5.2 license or applying the license key via Aria Operations and Aria Logs 8.18.x UIs.
