Spectrum WebTomcat Logs are not being auto-deleted/purged

Issue/Introduction

When enabling the auto-purge function for Spectrum OneClick logs, the WebTomcat logs are not auto-purged

How can purge/delete be enabled for the old log files (catalina.log and localhost_access_log..*.txt ) under $SPECROOT/webtomcat/logs/ directory?

Environment

DX NetOps Spectrum currently supported releases up to 24.3.6

Cause

The log-rotation for WebTomcat logs is not supported at the moment.

Resolution

We are looking to add this to a future release in Q4/2025 to Q1/2026
