VMware Infrastructure Health (VIH) Adapter is missing from Integrations source

Issue/Introduction

Under Integrations source, VMware Infrastructure Health is not showing.  The management pack is also not showing in the Repository.

Environment

Aria Operations 8.18.x

Cause

This is by design.

Resolution

On Aria Operations 8.18, VMware Infrastructure Health is activated by default and a new VMware Infrastructure Health account is created for each new node and cloud proxy in VMware Aria Operations. Although the VIH is not showing under integration, however, these adapters can be found under Inventory Management.  

• To see the VIH adapters:
  1. From the left menu, click Operations > Configurations, and then click the Inventory Management tile. 
  2. Then expand Adapter Instances > VMware Infrastructure Health Adapter Instance

• If you wish to stop/start collection for a VIH adapter instance 
  1. Click on Operations
  2. Click on Configurations
  3. Expand Adapter Instances 
  4. Click on VMware Infrastructure Health Adapter Instance 
  5. Select the appropriate adapter instance you want to manage
  6. Click on Stop/Start icon
