Issue/Introduction

HCX RAV migration fails during switchover with the following error in UI

The source VM is running on NSX-T segment ( ie There is NSX-T on the source as well). The network name in the error is the network source VM is attached.

The app.log located at /common/logs/admin/ shows following errors

Environment

VMware HCX

Cause

The failure is due to the VM's NSX-T segment not accessible by HCX due to missing NSX-T registration with HCX

Resolution

Please check HCX admin page ie <https://<hcx-ip>:9443> and ensure that NSX-T shows the status as connected & green.
If NSX-T is successfully connected resyncing the service mesh and disabling/reenabling RAV in the service mesh can correct the issue.
