TPX - Session Management

Issue/Introduction

On the TPX Userid Maintenance screen, when trying to add a NEW Session ID to associate with an existing APPLID the following message is seen:

MENA8023 You are not allowed to add a new session

Resolution

The TPX Administrator added the following in the Update class table so the user had authority to do what they needed:

Go to TPXADMIN

   Option 1 User/Group Maintenance

   Option 4 User Self-Maintenance Update Class, select the Group ex: TPXGROUP

   Select Class 'D', Option 1 TPX Update Class Maintenance (select the update class the user is assigned).

      >> Set the following to 'Y' on the page 1:: 

           

      >>  In addition the Startup ACL is needed, set this to 'Y' on page 3:
